Arpita Sarkar is an Indian Artist, known for her versatility and emotive performances across genres like Classical, Folk, Pop and R&B. Hailing from Tripura and currently based in Kolkata. Her journey began at an early age, she gained recognition as a regular artist for All India Radio and Doordarshan (India’s National TV Channel) since 2008.  She has performed extensively on various TV channels in her hometown of Tripura and Kolkata. In 2013, she was honored with the prestigious title of  "Tripurar Shera Kontho" (Best Voice of Tripura).
Her debut album, "Meherbaan," was released in 2014, She made her mark as a pPlayback aArtist with the song "Shono Shonai" in the film Mahishashur-Marddini.
Arpita’s recent highlights include the title track for Dekho but Dekho Pyar Se (2023); and hit songs like "Ke Shera Shera" and "Baaje Joltorongo" from Monpotongo - Mindflies.  She has also recorded songs in other Indian languages, such as Assamese, Manipuri, and Bengali, further showcasing her versatility. Additionally, she has contributed to cultural and educational initiatives by making several school anthems.

Arpita’s artistry extends beyond film, with her notable collaboration with the incredible composer, Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist,  Sumitabha Saha Roy on the album "Secret" (2023). 
Her  upcoming projects like the empowering film "Proud to Be a Woman",  In addition, she has lent her voice to the Bengali web series "Onyobhuban."
